Actually a new study has shown that if a child has MRSA bacteria (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and contracts the swine flu influenza they have an 8X more likely chance to die even if they are otherwise healthy.

The bottom line is if your child comes down with flu symtoms get them to the doctor immediately. Let your doctor decided what further steps should be taken. The doctor in the above article felt that if Tamiflu could have been given immediately to these children that died, possibly their lives could have been saved.
