It has been reported in Cambodia that some people have fallen victim to the normal seasonal flu and at the same time the much more deadly swine flu. This rare occurrence of the double-flu may create a risk of a super-flu virus mutation. If developed, this type of virus would probably leave the human population with no immunity and the ability to spread from continent almost overnight. As you can seen there is a lot of hype in these stories. The cases now being reported in Cambodia date back to 2009 during the swine flu outbreak. However health experts and directors of disease control are extremely concerned with this type of dual infection because of a possible genetic mutation and the global health implications.
