Stop H1N1 Swine Flu in Children – two Things You Have to Keep Your Kids From Doing to Keep Them Healthly

by admin on November 3, 2009

The H1N1 Swine Flu has extra media attention than any other flu during this generation and doctors are still saying that it isn’t any more deadly than regular seasonal flu. The hype seems to be targeted around helping to sell the swine flu vaccination to the public. What if you do not plan on giving your children the vaccine? Swine Flu is no laughing matter but keeping things on the lighter side from personal a experience I have compiled a list of things to avoid to help you prevent the swine flu in kids.

1. Do not lick the table once you are at McDonalds
Yes this actually happened today. I’ll tell you a way to avoid this. When you buy a hot fudge sundae for your kids do not let the hot fudge drip out onto the table. My daughter had the irresistible urge to lick the hot fudge off the table. This happened during a split second but was like watching a train crash in slow motion plus I could not stop it.

2. Keep their hands out of their mouths and eyes after touching everything in sight.
This was also at Mcdonalds. What’s with a child’s urge to touch everything they see but then immediately follow that up with putting their hands in their mouth, eyes, or their fingers up their nose or their brothers and sisters mouth and face? I’m carrying Purell to sanitize their hands but end up definitely going thru a complete 5 gallon jug inside minutes. I still don’t have a good answer for this apart from making them wear large gloves.

For now I think I will simply go to the drive-through when getting them their Saturday Happy Meal. Prevent H1N1 swine flu in children by keeping their hands really clean. It’s difficult to get them to keep their hands out of their face, eyes, plus mouth thus be a proactive parent plus do your best to keep those little hands sanitized.
